Our Managing Director Caroline Wellard, has over 37 years of estate agency experience, her extensive local knowledge extends to both people and property, Caroline’s is famous for her brand of personalised client care in CT5.

Caroline manages her team extending out from CT5 towards Canterbury, Faversham, Herne Bay, Thanet and the Villages

Caroline is an NAEA qualified Estate Agent and is also an Associate of The Guild of Professional Estate Agents, based in our flagship office in Tankerton. Caroline leads the CT5 team conveniently situated for our customers across at our two office locations in Tankerton and Whitstable.

Caroline has a reputation of going that ‘extra mile’ for her clients and with her team of nine qualified estate agents in the CT5 area works to ensure we maintain our high standard of customer care.

Caroline joined the company in 1987, became a Director in 1997 and was appointed to her present position of Managing Director in 2005. Caroline is married with one son and enjoys her leisure time at her home in Chestfield and messing about in boats.

Kieron joined our team in June 2008. He has established a reputation for getting results in the Herne Bay area, in a period which many have found challenging. His progress has been significant within the Kent Estate Agencies team offering a positive, professional service to both Sellers and Buyers.

Kieron brings enthusiasm, 100% commitment to customer service and a willingness to go that extra mile, to achieve his goals and that of his clients. He has earned the Trust and Confidence of his Clients as confirmed by Customer Testimonials.

He has also been successful in achieving the NFOPP Level 3 technical award in residential property sales, as well as the qualification of an Associate member of the Guild of Property Professionals.

Alfie, as a NAEA qualified estate agent, has a great passion for making sure his clients home move go through as smoothly as possible and understands that each client’s goal is unique.

Alfie is an Assistant Branch Sales Manager working from our Tankerton office and assists Caroline Wellard in providing Residential Property Services for our clients in the CT5 area, working to Caroline’s exacting standard of Customer care.

Alfie is also an associate of The Guild of Property Professionals, which he has taken to the next level with their enhanced training scheme.

In his spare time Alfie enjoys going to the gym and using technology.

Elliot, as part of the Herne Bay & Thanet team since 2014, has great enthusiasm and determination to help buyers find their home and to make sure that the Herne Bay Office remains the No 1 Estate Agent in Herne Bay for Customer Satisfaction by meeting all his client's needs and is an important part of the Herne Bay & Thanet team.

Elliot is an accredited Member Of The National Association of Estate Agents, qualified as an Associate Member of The Guild of Property Professionals and has also completed the Guild of Property Professional's enhanced training scheme. Elliot has always taken a very personal approach to helping his clients and understands that everybody's journey is different. Elliot has a long list of loyal clients he has helped over many years to sell and buy coastal and country homes in Herne Bay, Canterbury and Thanet and he is always looking for his next client to add to that list.

Elliot is an avid golfer and plays locally in Canterbury but has been spotted at Chestfield, Whitstable and Birchington & Westgate. Elliot and his wife Victoria spend most of their spare time however walking their rescue dogs along the River Stour in their hometown of Fordwich.

In her spare time Claire takes part in recreational football for “Canterbury Old Bags” Claire enjoys supporting her daughter in carrying on the tradition of Ladies football in her family. As if that's not enough Claire is also President of the Reculver Beacon WI.

Paul joined Kent Estate Agencies in 1993, after 5 years working in the front line of Estate Agency, he started to demonstrate a passion for the use of IT and systems in estate agency. Paul has been successful in combining his experience as an Estate Agent with his passion and has become responsible for KEA computer facilities. In 2000 he embarked on bringing together the plans to create a “Customer Relationship Management”(CRM) software platform which utilises the latest technology for the benefit of our clients, customers and our team. Our software platform now manages every aspect of the business which enables us to react to changing technologies and market conditions very easily, one of the benefits of having this level of control of our software platform meant that in March 2020 with the announcement of the first lockdown, our teams were working from home with the same phone, systems & technology within 3 hours, so this change had no impact on our clients and customers, they still could phone the office number and speak to the team member as if they were in branch and the team had access to all their files and data as they did in branch. Having such an established CRM software platform has given us an unrivalled advantage which our competitors have found difficult to emulate, this is just one example of our ability to create KEA systems which benefit our clients.

Another example came in July 2021, when we launched a system which monitors every property in a sales chain of transactions each and every day, highlighting any breaks in the chain so our experienced sales progressors can deal with any potential issues extremely fast to ensure the problem does not escalate, this system alone has increased our sales to completion success rate by over 20% in 2021 which is a big achievement considering that the National estate agency sales to completion success rates came under pressure in 2021, the reason we launched this service to protect our clients.

Amanda manages our social media and works closely with the teams to ensure our clients' properties receive the maximum engagement, leaving our teams to focus on people while Amanda focuses on Facebook pixels, remarketing, data analyst and system testing.

Colleen keeps an eye on our data to ensure that our data cleansing systems continue to keep our records up to date, this effectively increases our reach to potential buyers to ensure they are receiving the right information from us. Colleen is actively involved in new systems where we test the approach in a manual aspect to enable integration into our core software platform.
