In the last twelve months the housing market has shown real improvement predominantly due to its shortage of quality homes coming on to the market. The increase in buyers moving from rental back in to the housing market has added to the increased demand. Realistic pricing remains the key to successful selling, and where our clients have understood this, we have been successful in delivering strong results. With the base rate expected to remain low, and mortgage lending expected to remain tight, our view is that competitive pricing will continue to be the key driver in selling in 2010.
